If you love arriving in style, the Cadillac Escalade is a big way to do it. Ever since it was first introduced in 1999, buyers have been drawn in by its presence. Over time, it has gotten even more sophisticated and advanced. Recently, the automaker shared some updates the Escalade will get for the 2019 model year.

All 2019 Escalade models will come standard with a hands-free tailgate that includes a logo light. When you make a kicking motion under the rear bumper, the tailgate will open or close. This will simplify loading cargo into the back, especially when your hands are full. It automatically senses the proximity of the key fob, whether you have it in your pocket or purse.

For an extra dose of style, the Escalade will have an available Sport Package. This visual package will be available on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum trims. It will add details like uniquely-finished wheels and a black gloss daylight opening surround. There will Black Ice Chrome-colored accents across the body including the grille, lower fascia, rear applique, and bodyside molding.

Next year, there will be two new exterior color options: Manhattan Noir Metallic and Shadow Metallic. The Escalade will undergo a complete redesign for 2020, so it will get even more updates then.
